A long time ago, at the very beginnings of this blog, I had posted a very short lived series of pictures / quizzes called “Where in Paris?“
The goal was simple: I post a picture of Paris, you need to find where it was taken.
As I stumbled upon an old picture that would fit perfectly in this series, I’m reviving it today.
So, can you find where in Paris this is:
It might be a bit of a challenge, even if you know the city.
Post your answers in the comments, of course.

This is in the 15th arr on rue Bouchut and rue Valentin Hauy. I had to google the exact name thought….place George Mulot.
And we have a winner…
I thought it’d take a bit longer.
You guys are fast…
I really didn’t think that this place was known at all.
In almost 5 years in Paris, I’ve been there only once – when I took the picture – and I stumbled upon it totally randomly; I was new in town and would spend my Sunday afternoons getting lost in the city to get to know it better.
Place G. Mulot, I would think. A very nice, comfortable, perhaps a little too luxurious part of town.
Well, played. Yes, definitely a little too luxurious part of town.
It’s Place Georges Mulot, Paris 15!
Yep.
Apparently, many of you know the place. 🙂

There’s an old slaughterhouse in the 15th!?!?
Damn! I’ve just come back from staying in the 15th and I didn’t stumble across this.
Yes, it’s pretty well hidden.
