Dark (Inktober 2019 – Twenty-Six)

I’m quite behind now. I’m glad I managed to mostly follow schedule for so long. I’m not gonna lie, I did get a headstart, drawing my earlier drawings in September. However, the past few days have just been too busy and on top of that, I did struggle quite a bit finding the right thing to draw for today’s Inktober prompt, Dark.

Lack of time didn’t help, but I really didn’t know what to draw at first. Then my few attempts to draw the Dark Phoenix were insulting to John Byrne – and Tim Curry’s Darkness didn’t go well either.

So, I was stuck… Until I found what I needed to draw:

This is the main corridor in my house, and according to my kids, at night, it’s dark and full of terrors. Well, only my daughter actually finds it scary. My son is more like “well, if my older sister finds it scary, it’s gotta be scary, right? So I’ll just say I find it scary too.”

I have to admit that I’m not too disappointed with how it turned out. There were so many ways to mess this up.
