This is an authentic, hand built, Bangladeshi dinghy. However, I’ve never been to Bangladesh. Also, it’s a river boat, and here it’s sailing on saltwater.

Read both links and watched the videos. What a fascinating project! I appreciate your insighst into the importance of boats in some cultures. I hardly give them a thought except as vehicles of leisure, but now I’ll think of them in a different way.
